I got one of these for my dad as part of his Christmas present-- he likes to be able to look out the kitchen window and know what way the wind is blowing. This windsock is somewhat larger than I thought it would be, but it seems well-constructed, durable, and is certainly eye-catching.

Love our windsocks, we live in very windy Texas, near a lake and it tells us whether the wind is from the north or south, out of our big picture window.
